The talisman recipes are/were/will always net you the same $ as the output they make (gold ore = gold talisman in $). Their only purpose is to make what you need for the story, never to make $ out of them

To get 1 Gold Talisman you need 3 Stone Talisman too. Each Stone Talisman is 10$ worth. It means that you invest 4030$ to get 4000$. Crafting Gold Talisman is only if you need it for crafting something else and you need Gold Talisman for that.

Nothing interesting (as for me) scene with her in the bathroom, you see her naked and that's it.
In this update the best scene for me was with Clare. Pricia is also fine.

But I'm always quick to remind people the game's not complete. If we could get to the next Madalyn scene in 20 minutes instead of 6-12 weeks from now (I can't imagine more Madalyn progression in the next 2-3 updates) then this scene will seem like really good teasing to get us excited about the next scene. Always remember everything's in context of "this is supposed to be a full game" so some updates are going to have less content than others but if you play it all at once you would never notice
